Ncell CEO Osman Turan handed over 20 bikes keys to Inspector

KATHMANDU, MAY 22 - Ncell, a leading mobile service provider company of Nepal, handed over 22 security bikes to Nepal Police and Traffic Police on Wednesday.

A program held in Kathmandu Ncell CEO Osman Turan handed over 20 bikes and 11 computers to Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kuber Shing Rana to support security agencies to strengthen their capacity to deliver better services to the people on time. 

Under the support, pledged under corporate social responsibility, Ncell gifted 20 motorcycles and safety helmets to Nepal Police and Traffic Police in Kathmandu Valley. Likewise, the company provided 11 computer sets to Traffic Police in order to facilitate it to deal with growing traffic problems and road accidents.

May 13, Kathmandu: An inception workshop of research project on “Enhancing livelihoods and food security from agro-forestry and community forestry in Nepal” is concluded today.
The two-day national workshop was organized to build consensus among the stakeholders on the research activities and sites. Following the national inception workshop, the district level stakeholder consultation will be held on two primary research project sites on 14th and 15th May in Kavre Palanchowk and Lamjung districts respectively. The five-year research project is funded by Australian Centre for International Agriculture Research (ACIAR).
Addressing the workshop, His Excellency The Ambassador of Australia, Glenn White expressed that there has always been good partnership between Australia and Nepal especially in the forestry sector in past and no doubt this new episode will continue on the same way. ” ACIAR has good experience in this kind of project and I wish for the success of the project”, his Excellency added.

KATHMANDU, MAY 5-Kalanki-Koteshwar road, which is going to be developing in 10 lanes, Under Path is contracting very soon based in Kalanki Chook in Kathmandu.

According to officials Under Path is planned to build 840 Meters long in Shoyembho to Khashibazar side. But Thankot to Kalimati side will be the same. This Developing process is One year long. 


The developing process of Under Path all the vehicles could divert to another road which are still searching process.  In the first step Metropolitan Traffic Police Division (MTPD) started on Thursday to find out the divert routes. According to officials of Division they searched two routes which are not yet to be finalized.
Kalanki Chook is the central way to Valley from most of places of the country. Thousands of passengers are using this way daily.

New Load shedding Schedule effictive from MAY 4. To download first click right of Mouse then click in "Save image as".

It will take place on the given time inside the Kathmandu Valley and 5 minutes after the given time outside the Valley as officials of NEA says to MeeTmeYaR on Saturday evening.
